Does any of you know where to find tri-wing screwdrivers (not Amazon) , that will deliver in Europe? The screwdrivers for wii, ds, etc
Boosts welcome! :boost_ok:

Also the Dell XPS 9570 is running pretty reliable nowadays running Debian 10. Previously I had sleep/resume issues but there were fixed after fiddling with some grub options. PM me for details. .

unable to properly address my signal notification issues on my Fairphone running /e/ OS, I switched to an iPhone 7 I still had in stock. Will try again in a couple of months. /e/ OS is a lotvcleaner and nicer than stock Android in my humble opinion.

Yeah, Mastodon is certainly better than Twitter, but you know what would make it even better?

If Mastodon got end-to-end encryption for DMs before Twitter did.

So I have just sent a letter to the @DPCIreland to hear when they now plan to enforce the /#SCC judgment against @Facebook -- after 7 years of "guidance" by five Courts (2x HC, 1x SC, 2x CJEU)... πŸ˜‰

Someone noticed that when you have hundreds / thousands of cores in a supercomputer, the individual utilization boxes in Task Manager start to look like pixels. People started making pictures by doing different amounts of work on specific processors.

It escalated quickly. twitter.com/ares_emu/status/12

How time flies... 20 years ago, Sun Microsystems announced that it was opening the source code to StarOffice, in the form of OpenOffice. Today, LibreOffice is the most actively developed successor to OpenOffice: blog.documentfoundation.org/bl

"Should I use KeePass 2, KeePassX, or KeePassXC?"

βœ”οΈ Use KeePass 2 – this is the original KeePass, primarily developed for Windows. However, it can be used on Linux, too.

βœ”οΈ Use KeePassXC – this password manager indirectly originates from KeePass 2. Most features are similar to KeePass 2.

❌ Don't use KeePassX – development ceased in 2016.

Only recently I learned about an alternative for Citrix Xenserver / Hypervisor. It is called xcp-ng and can be used free of charge, containing most of the goodies that cost $$$ with Citrix. And if you DO want a support, you can, totally optional (Just as with Ubuntu). The company behind it is French. Nice!

Also still looking for better options to replace 'Spotlight' search on the Mac. I like the results that 'recoll' produces on Debian but it could use work on the GUI. Maybe some project that I am unaware of is already doing that?

What are the best tools to OCR PDF files on Linux / BSD? I tried pdfsandwich. It is pretty good, but it does produce black and white content instead of the original colored original. It does produce a single file with both the PDF and the detected text.

Dat je hoopt dat het niet geshopped is maar echt een ding πŸ‘πŸ»
